Robert Gary Dodds

Robert Gary Dodds is an internationally respected hospitality executive with more than

forty years' leadership experience across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, Asia Pacific,

and the Americas. Recognized for his diplomacy, strategic judgment, international

network, and exceptional people skills, he has built a career helping global hospitality

organizations create high-performing, people-focused businesses grounded in

leadership excellence, operational resilience, employee well-being, and Duty of Care.

He has held senior executive leadership positions with Marriott International & The

Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, InterContinental Hotels Group, and The Hong Kong &

Shanghai Hotels Limited, including its Peninsula Group luxury hotel portfolio. He also owned and managed an award-winning English country house hotel renowned for its

Michelin-award-winning cuisine and seasonal shooting and fishing. More recently, he has become an award-winning author of biographies and historical works.

 

Today Robert is Founder and Global Ambassador of MG Consulting (USA) LLC, serves on the STAYSAFE Certification Advisory Board, and continues advising owners, boards, senior executives, universities, and international organizations on governance, leadership, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, safety, security, resilience, and hospitality best practice.
