Across more than two decades of operational, security and management experience, Gocha has built a career around protecting people, preparing organizations for the unexpected and creating environments where guests and employees can feel confident.

Today, he serves as Loss Prevention Manager at Le Méridien Batumi , with responsibility spanning health, safety and security, risk management, emergency response, crisis planning, fire safety, training and daily operational controls. He was also closely involved in the opening of both Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi and Le Méridien Batumi .

His philosophy is straightforward:

Good safety is not simply about preventing incidents. It is about creating organizations that know how to respond when something happens.

That belief has shaped Gocha's work throughout his hospitality career.

From fire prevention and evacuation planning to guest protection, surveillance, contingency planning, food and water safety, emergency procedures and staff training, his experience covers the practical realities that determine whether a safety system works when it is needed most.

Gocha spent eight years leading the Safety and Security Department at Radisson Blu Batumi before moving into his current leadership role at Le Méridien. Alongside his hotel responsibilities, he has also served as Representative & Director of Stay Safe Hospitality Georgia , working with safety, security, audit and certification.

But Gocha's contribution goes beyond operations.

He is also an invited lecturer in Fire and Electrical Safety at Black Sea College , helping prepare the next generation of occupational safety professionals. His own academic background includes an MBA, studies in International Business Relations and a higher vocational qualification in Occupational Safety and Environmental Technology.
His career reflects a constant commitment to learning and improvement, including advanced training in occupational health and safety, food safety, inspection standards, fire safety, quality management and international hotel security. In 2023, he was recognized as Best Manager of the Year at Le Méridien Hotel Batumi .
