Cronjé Venter, CSMP®, PCQI, LSSBB

Cronjé Venter is a Dubai-based security, safety and quality management executive with over two decades of leadership experience protecting guests, staff and assets across some of the world's most prestigious hospitality brands. 

His career includes senior security leadership roles with Jumeirah Group (The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, The Jumeirah Beach Club and Wild Wadi Water Park), Hyatt Regency Dubai and Kerzner International's One&Only One Za'abeel, where he directed safety, security and loss-prevention operations and contributed to successful ISO 9001 certification outcomes. He is a certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Auditor (TÜV Nord, IRCA-registered) and a Practicing Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI), with further credentials spanning ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 31000 (Risk Management) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity). His health & safety credentials include a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, IOSH Working Safely and specialist fire and life-safety training including NFPA 101.

Cronjé has led security and safety planning for major international events and VIP engagements, including an International Monetary Fund conference hosted at Hyatt Regency Dubai, and (during his tenure as Director of Operations at Emaar Properties) the New Year's Eve celebrations at Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, one of the world's largest annual public gatherings, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees and global broadcast coverage. 

Across his career he has shown a consistent flair for innovation, personally designing and building bespoke systems where none existed (from proprietary psychometric recruitment and performance-assessment tools to custom incident-management databases) turning manual, error-prone processes into structured, data-driven solutions. 

A Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he brings a rare combination of quality-assurance rigor, creative systems-thinking and hands-on hospitality safety leadership to any advisory role.
